Jonathan fundraising for V6 all-terrain Frontier wheelchair

My name is Jonathan Brough and I have been living with a spinal cord injury for the last 12 years. Back in 2007 while I was out in Canada training to be a Ski Instructor, I contracted meningococcal meningitis this caused me to be seriously ill and resulted in me being paralysed from C1/C2 and ventilator dependant. Changing my life completely.

The fundraising I’m currently doing is to help me purchase a new wheelchair which is designed to enable me to do more of the things I used to love that sadly my current chair doesn’t allow.

Defibrillator at Archway

I am very pleased to advise all members that the Defibrillator at Archway School has now been moved outside into a heated cabinet mounted on the wall just to the left of School reception, inside the metal fence. This is now available in case of emergency to all users of the sports hall and field even outside school hours.

Gloucester Rugby Community Charity

We are reaching out to local runners and running clubs, looking for new participants to represent the Gloucester Rugby Community Charity for the Cheltenham Half Marathon.

Last year both our staff and supporters helped us to raise a huge £4,000 for the Gloucester Rugby Community Charity to help support all the projects running for those who need it most. This includes starting up Homeless Rugby sessions, extra learning support for our students, high sensory Glow Rugby, a junior wheelchair rugby team and much, much more!
