Great turn out at the the 3rd Pilot Inn 5k

At last nights Pilot Inn 5k, hosted by Severn AC, we had a great turn out of Stroud runners.

The race is set over a competitve 5km distance and is aimed primarlily at fast club runners with only 60 places available. Even in the heat last night everyone ran really.

Lee Stopford set a new course record of 16:00 to claim 1st place and the prize of 3 packs of biscuits.

The 1st 6 runners home made up the club team for the purpose of the team award and after claiming 1st, 2nd, 4th, 8th, 9th and 10th places we won the prize of a 2nd pack of biscuits each.

As soon as the full results are posted by Severn AC we will update the post.
