New club kit

Over the last few months the committee has been looking to refresh our club kit to take advantage of the new style sublimation printed tops that are available today.

Our classic design has been given a bit of a face lift. The main elements of the current design have been kept with a few new additions that hopefully add a more modern feel to the shirts.

New look race calendar now live

We have put together a google calendar which lists other races in the area. It is available through this page on the site at present >>> HERE

It is alos available at the bottom of the home page now.

If you use google calendars you can subscribe to the calendar as well.

If you have any races you want to include please let Jim, Sharon, Ian or Oleg know.

Cotswold Relay Team news

The Race Comittee has sent out the following email regarding entry to the cotswold relaye. If you have any questions or queries please direct them to the race comiittee via email.

The club has entered 4 teams (awaiting confirmation of acceptance) into the Cotswold Way Relay for 2018.  The date for the Cotswold Way Relays has been confirmed as Saturday 30th June 2018.

Kerrin Cocks shines in the Irene Ultra in South Africa - 8th April

Stroud AC runners travel all around the world to indulge in their passion for running. Predictably Kerrin Cocks was the only Stroud runner at Sundays Irene Ultra (South Africa).  In the blistering heat of 30 degrees, she ran 30 miles to finish in a fantastic time of 4h 34. Kerrin reported that she was "Sunburnt, knackered but very happy".  Well done Kerrin, we are all in awe of your performance and we hope you are relaxing now and enjoying your holiday.

Highworth 5 Mile Road Race - Sunday 8th April

Three Stroudies made their way across the border to Wiltshire to compete in the Highworth 5 mile road race this morning.  On a fast course, Ryan Stephens was our first man home finishing in 31:09, followed hot on his heel by Will Hartop in 31:15 and Pete Law who was delighted with his new PB crossing the finish in 37:03 - Well done boys!
