Doynton Hard Half Marathon Results - 21st January 2018

The Doynton Hard Half Marathon is a tough cross country half marathon race. It takes place on footpaths, bridle paths and country lanes thick with mud. Through rivers swollen with winter rain and over hills with wicked climbs and hellish descents, it really is not for the faint hearted or the in experienced novice runner.

Eight tough Stroudies braved the wet and cold winter elements today and took part.  A big well done to everyone who competed, not nice conditions even on a straight forward course.

Naunton 19 Race Results - 7th January 2018

Today five Stroudies took part in the Naunton 19 mile off-road race.  This challenging race across the beautiful north Cotswold countryside is not for the faint hearted and takes a lot of skill to run.  It took the runners through water logged fields, along lanes, through woods and up and down slippery hills.

Well done to everybody for finishing in excellent times:

14th Annual Christmas 4 Mile Race Results

Due to the snow and ice after Christmas unfortunately the 4 mile road race which took place on the lanes starting at Elmore Village Hall had to be re-scheduled to New Year's Day.  Understandably, the new date deterred a lot of our runners who were originally planning on competing.  However, two determined runners did make the start line and finished in respectable times. Well done to Chris Jurevicius 9th place in 28:34 and Lee Christmas 11th place in 28:45
